Can we have a Tesco delivery while we are staying on the Isle of Coll?

Yes! Book a Click and Collect from the Tesco in Oban, you will then need to contact MacLennan Motors and provide them with your Tesco confirmation number. They will pick it up from Tesco and deliver it straight to you.

How to contact MacLennan Motors:

Click here for the latest information from Maclennan's. They deliver to the Isle of Coll on a Wednesday and Friday. They pick from Tesco the day before.
You will need to call Maclennan Motors on 01631 566275 and pay upfront for this service (£14 for three boxes)

You can also buy groceries on the island at Coll Stores in the village. Although bread, milk, and vegetables can be in short supply, please bear in mind that they are not open on a Sunday.

Should we bring our own groceries to the island?

There is a well stocked grocery shop on the Island called Coll Stores! However, you may want to bring essentials with you or order a Tesco delivery before you arrive.

Are logs provided for the log burner?

Unfortunately, there are few trees on the island, so firewood must be brought in from the mainland. Please consider bringing some logs with you (available from the Esso Petrol Station that you pass coming into Oban) or from Heather, your local contact, who can provide bags of logs at cost.
